My Horses...

"Sox"
Sox is a Quarter Horse and was my first horse after getting back into riding from several years away
He is a carbon copy of "Star" who was my horse many years earlier, and is the namesake of my kennel

"Teddie"
Teddie is an ex-racehorse who retired sound and is now my riding horse
.

1st month here 2 months with us

5 months with us
"Anna"
Anna is our 3 year old foster horse - what a pretty little filly she is!

"Destiny"
Destiny recently came to live with us after retiring from the track. Her former trainer would have sold her to the killer buyer if no one else paid her ransom. She has now learned to trust humans and is quite the love bug!

"Karma & Goldie"
Karma (left) is our little miracle. We rescued her from the killer buyer in 2005, only to almost lose her to Potomac Horse Fever in 2006. She is healthy once again, thanks to our wonderful vets who were there every step of her treatment
Goldie (right) is also an ex racehorse who was given to me by my friend Phil, her breeder/owner. Goldie is Karma's best buddy

"Vegas"
I am fostering Vegas during his recovery from knee chip surgery - the bone chips were caused by racing and his former owners were kind enough to donate him to rescue so he could have a chance at a new career.
Update - Vegas will become part of our family permanently!! I just adore him and wouldn't want to see him go anywhere else.

"Nick"
Nick is a Thoroughbred but was never raced. I have had Nick since he was a 2 year old

"King"
King is my Quarter Horse who thinks he's a puppy
